Given the ongoing nature of the COVID-19 pandemic and unpredictability of future events, we have decided to transform the JRE 2021 conference to a fully online, virtual experience. All conference presentations will take place on 28 and 29 April 2021 via Zoom. We apologize for any inconvenience this change might cause. Please contact us if you need further clarifications. Please also continue to visit our JRE 2021 website for any updates and for more information on the virtual conference format.
This second RDE event aims to bring together academic scholars, novice researchers (Master and PhD), teachers and other stakeholders in the Polynesian education system to reflect on current issues in education. The geographical distance of French Polynesia from national and international educational research centres complicates collaboration with other research scholars and specialists in education. In this particular context, it seems necessary to bring together not only local resources and institutions but also scholars from other research centres. Thus, the two other objectives of this second RDE conference are (a) to search for common educational issues and (b) to initiate research collaborations with researchers from other universities.
CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The languages of the conference are French, English and Tahitian. However, proposals must be submitted either in English or French.
