CALL FOR CONTRIBUTION

We invite you to submit proposals for oral presentations on one of the following themes:

Theme 1: Content and Language Integrated Learning (EMILE in French).

CLIL will be the central theme of the RDE 2021 conference.

  • CLIL and context: Contexts and conditions of learning.
  • CLIL and the use of L1:  Translanguaging, code-switching, translanguaging, code meshing etc.
  • CLIL and affect: Beliefs, attitudes and motivation of learners.
  • CLIL and age: Issues related to age and CLIL learning.
  • CLIL and theoretical issues: Search for theoretical standpoints and  compatible approaches.
  • CLIL and pedagogical issues: Teacher training, learner involvement, links between learning and cognition.
  • CLIL and learning outcomes: Experimental studies comparing CLIL with other practices and longitudinal case studies focusing on learning outcomes.

We also accept proposals addressing current issues in education through one of the following themes:

Theme 2: Contextualized instruction: Theoretical and practical approaches.

Theme 3: Plurilingual settings: Autochthonous, second and foreign language learning and teaching.

Theme 4: Actual and reported practices: School and family involvement in educational practices.

Theme 5: Innovation and education: New pedagogies and technologies in education.
